Bringing Bodega Bouza to life in VR

Bodega Bouza, a family-owned winery in Montevideo, Uruguay, is one of the country’s most acclaimed wine producers. For this project, we partnered with Xydrobe to create a four-minute 360-degree VR animation showcasing the Bodega Las Espinas vineyard. With a tight three-week timeline, our goal was to bring the vineyard to life in an immersive way. The final experience was presented at an airport shop in Uruguay, giving travelers a unique glimpse into the world of Bouza wines.

Recreating the vineyard

To achieve this, we built the vineyard in Unreal Engine 5, making full use of its latest tools, including Nanite, dynamic tessellation, and modeling features. Working within strict time constraints, we focused on efficiency: procedural generation for trees and vines, advanced shaders for detailed ground rendering, and a structured blockout workflow to prioritize essential elements. Customizing assets from the Fab Marketplace helped refine the environment while keeping production on schedule.

Delivering under pressure

Completing this project in just three weeks was a significant achievement, demonstrating our ability to balance creativity and efficiency under tight deadlines. It also reinforced the importance of strategic decision-making in immersive experiences.
