Through our partner Happy Finish in London, we participated in this amazing project for the new Sony earbuds; the Sony LinkBuds. This was not just any campaign, but rather a “Metaverse” for users to buy the Sony LinkBuds, gain access to all the digital Verses, and learn about the product’s unique features.
Unique unboxing experience
We helped build a digital unboxing experience for an influencer campaign, which comes to life through the use of webAR. The experience comes to life through the Sony Metaverse in augmented reality. It’s a Virtual Hub that becomes a central home for the campaign.
On scanning a marker on the box, users will be prompted to allow access to the camera (a ‘Powered by 8th Wall’ logo will be featured) and be drawn into the box experience, which is a mini metaverse showing the new LinkBuds and all its features.
Pushing the boundaries of AR
This project represents a major milestone for Moyosa on all fronts: partnership, webAR and just a momentously cool experience, which we’re very proud of. We were able to push the boundaries of webAR with 8th wall, as well as optimize our partnership with Happy Finish in London, and the result is best seen by yourselves in the below unboxing video!
