A fun summer with curated songs

We partnered with JTI to create a digital music activation for their limited-edition product release in Austria. Through QR codes, users accessed a dedicated website featuring a playful questionnaire. Completing the quiz rewarded them with personalized song recommendations, encouraging repeat visits and providing valuable consumer insights through anonymized analytics. This activation ran during the summer of 2024.

Creative development and analytics

Our team managed the entire project, from brainstorming a catchy name to designing the user experience, crafting fun questions, curating a playlist with five genres, and handling development and testing. The primary challenge was creating a fully responsive website that reflected the brand’s aesthetic while incorporating dynamic elements. We achieved this by drawing inspiration from the product’s color palette and adding playful, music-themed visuals, including a responsive music player that animated in sync with the song’s frequencies.

The anonymized analytics offer insights into visitors’ devices, browsers, locations, how they arrived at the website, and how long they stayed. We also tracked which answers and music genres were most popular and how many users replayed a song. This data provides JTI with valuable information to inform future activations and marketing strategies.

Enhanced efficiency through creative control

This project was significant for us, as we had complete creative control over design, content, and development. This autonomy allowed us to design, build, and test the website in-house more efficiently than usual. This integrated approach to web development makes us an ideal partner for your next project.
