Expanding the Kremer Collection experience

After collaborating on numerous projects for the Kremer family, including the gallery for their main Kremer collection, they returned to us with an exciting opportunity: to design a virtual space for their new collection of 20 to 30 paintings. The gallery needed to reflect the elegance we achieved with their first virtual space, featuring a round shape to maintain continuity. Additionally, the space had to align with their brand-new website, incorporating a deep blue colour palette. Most importantly, the gallery was to offer visitors a unique and immersive experience, while remaining adaptable to host rotating exhibitions.

From concept to completion

Our team managed the project from concept to completion, ensuring every detail aligned with the Kremer Collection’s vision and expectations. We began identifying their goals and translating them into a cohesive mood board. From there, we designed the space, curated the artwork placement, and focused on optimising the visitor’s experience.

Key challenges included finding the balance between a grand and cosy atmosphere, highlighting the collection at the centre of the room, and navigating the complexities of a rounded space. We addressed these challenges through thoughtful spatial design, carefully planned lighting, and innovative navigation solutions.

Exceeding client’s expectations

To maintain the desired visual accuracy, we ensured the paintings’ colours remained true in every render. The final result exceeded expectations, leaving the Kremer team delighted. Although no formal metrics were collected yet, this project highlighted the value of blending technical precision with creative problem-solving. We will continue to refine this approach in future endeavours.
