The General Concept

Cadbury, formerly Cadbury’s and Cadbury Schweppes, is a British multinational confectionery company wholly owned by Mondelez International since 2010. Cadbury is internationally headquartered in Uxbridge, west London, and operates in more than 50 countries worldwide. It is known for its Dairy Milk chocolate, the Creme Egg and Roses selection box, and many other confectionery products. They have been inventing,
inspiring and investing in a nation of chocolate lovers for nearly 200 years. Not to mention it is the second largest confectionery brand in the world.

Cadbury wanted to explore creative and innovative idea to present his products in Cyprus and Dubai airports. The aim was to create holiday related content for Cadbury to be displayed in Hypeboxes, in other words storytelling using augmented reality. The Hypebox is a transparent display solution which enables the user to see real products and at the same time interact with digital content on the touchscreen. The activation was based around the idea of different holiday destinations, related symbols made from chocolate and purple yellow tones so the shopper gets an immersive experience and recognize the brand.

In the Hyperbox you can see the Cadbury product while playing digital content at the forefront.
